Jamie began his career as a teacher at Melbourne’s prestigious Trinity Grammar School. During his seven years at Trinity, Jamie’s educational focus centred around developing experiential learning programs to compliment mainstream curriculum.

As a part of this model, Jamie took students on a number of international trips including New Zealand and the famous Kokoda Trial in Papua New Guinea. These adventures proved life changing for his students and Jamie saw an opportunity to create a new kind of educational program focusing on social immersion and real life learning. Under the banner of his company EDventure International, Jamie and his team spent twelve years establishing themselves as one of the world’s premier international education providers.

In 2023 Jamie joined forces with renowned educator Dr Jon Carnegie in the creation of a new entity called Riverside EDventures which is currently building schools throughout Cambodia.
